Hussein Chalayan Fall 2010 RTW

These knitwear pieces stood out to me because they remind me of some of the gathered, ruffle detail I've been working on with my knitting, by using the holding position on the domestic mchines. They've also given me ideas for using the technique in different places on my designs and for different parts of the body. The way he has used bold colour against dark tones helps to highlight the knit and the technique which I think works really well.
